Grant Writing Basics and Submitting Proposals for Contracts

When developing proposals, leaders should stay true to their mission.
Identifying funding that aligns with an organization’s mission and that of the funder is a
“win win” situation. During this seminar, attendees will learn the basics of grant writing,
including how to assess “grant readiness”, learn how to develop a needs assessment,
how to identify potential funding sources, develop a budget, and evaluate the project or
business objectives. Attendees will also learn how to bid for and win business
contracts.
